public class RecordStack
extends javax.swing.JComboBox
implements NavigationView, java.awt.event.ActionListener

Tablet Project35's equivalent of the NavigationTree part of the normal Project35 dialog. the difference here is that only the active tree branch is viewed. in this view the top item in the combobox represents the root record model and the bottom one represents the current record model

addChangeListener

these change listeners will not be interested in changes to the combobox widget but when RecordStack decides to change focus. for example, users could go to another node which would trigger a change of selection in the combobox. But RecordStack listens to the combobox and can abort a change of selection if there are errors. in this case it is undesirable for other classes such as DataEntryPanel to simply add itself as an action listener. It should be added as a change listener and only be informed when a new record is selected
